Lots of grunt work to do in the lab this week. We’ll be visiting some of the more obscure corners of the periodic table. Well, except for the actinides. 

The cool thing about inorganic compounds is that color actually says something (sometimes) about the composition other than just the presence of gradoo. We organikkers try to dignify colored contaminants as “color bodies”. The word suggests to non-chemists that you know what the colored sh*t crud stuff material is. Oops.
